Here’s what Mr. Casey Jarman of the Willamette Week had to say about it: “I’m honestly not sure if I should like this video from Portland rockers LPS, but I really like it. It’s like a hippie-dippie Hold Steady song combined with some weird Black Crowes/John Mellencamp-type shit. What’s going on here!? I can’t figure it out. The video, directed by local filmmaker Karl Lind, just adds to my confusion. There’s a nauseating, Tim & Eric quality to the thing, but it’s also pretty technically impressive. So LPs gets a wow from me, even if it’s a wow of the head-scratching variety. The chorus will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day.” Well! That’s what you get when you mix PKD with Batman and Jesus!
